Watch this video to learn how to peg your lampshade paper to your rings.
Yes, its a pretty fast video ;-) You may like to watch it a couple of times.
A few things to note:
- Allow the natural curve of the lampshade paper to rest on the ring.
- Use the table as your stabiliser - peg on the side, don't lift the ring and paper up to peg
- Can you see light between the paper and the rings...you need to tighten it up towards the seam
- Do your rings keep slipping off? Just put it together as best you can, then come back and adjust the pegs so the edge of the lampshade paper lines up perfectly with the edge of the rings.
