3Chooks online LIVE Workshop - learn how to make lampshades
So many of you asked me to come to your town or city and teach a workshop that I had to find a way to make it happen. While I can't 'physically' make it, what I can do is 'virtually' be there.
3Chooks is so excited to bring you our new Online LIVE Workshops. Learn how to make lampshades from the comfort of your own home. You'll spend a leisurely 3 hours online with me one-to-one or in a small group learning the ins and outs of lampshade making.
Set The Scene
Imagine walking into your home at dusk...
Rather than switching on the harsh downlights, you reach for the in-line switch on your table lamp, lighting your living room with warm lamplight that highlights a beautiful fabric.
Next you wander over behind the couch and reach under a lampshade on your standard lamp (the one you found 15 years ago in a thrift store), it has a different but complementary fabric - it was a little more expensive, but worth every cent. The paintings on the wall are aglow. The scene is set. Switch on some great music, pour yourself a refreshing drink, sink into your favourite armchair and bask in the glow of another day well spent.
Thats the feeling I get each evening when its time to turn on the lights. The pleasure I feel from using something I made, day in, day out is more than substantial...it really pleases me!

You'll be making your lampshade at the same time
We'll work through the process step by step with time for you to make as we go along
You can share your screen too so I can do what you're doing, trouble shoot and problem solve on the go

So many of you asked if I could come to your town and teach a workshop. I would so love to galavant around the countryside but alas time just doesn't allow it at the moment. So this is the next best thing!
Set up your space so that its easy for you to see the screen of your computer, and hear the sound, plus I want to be able to see what you're doing - sometimes I might ask you to show me up close whats going on.
Do you have have more than one person wanting to do the workshop? I'm happy to organise discounts for group bookings of two or more people. Get in touch.
